A case of disappearance of 26 girls from a girls’ home which was running without permission in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, has come to light. These girls were residents of Gujarat, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Sehore, Raisen, Chhindwara, Balaghat of Madhya Pradesh, without permission.

Police have registered an FIR in the case of running a girls’ home. National Child Commission Chairman Priyank Kanungo has also written a letter to Madhya Pradesh Chief Secretary Veera Rana regarding the matter. Bhopal

This illegal girls’ home was being run in Parvaliya police station area. This controversy started after the disappearance of girls from the hostel (children home) of a private NGO in Bhopal.

26 girls missing from girls home

In fact, Chairman of the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Priyank Kanungo, had made a surprise visit to the Anchal Girls Hostel operated in Parwalia on the outskirts of Bhopal. During this time, when he checked the register, he found that there were entries of 68 girls in it but 26 of them were missing.

When the director of the children’s home, Anil Mathew, was questioned about the missing girls, he could not give a satisfactory answer, after which the police was informed. According to the FIR, many irregularities have been found in this children home run for girls.

Chairman of the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Priyank Kanungo, tweeted, ‘Jointly inspected an illegal children’s home run by a missionary in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, along with the State Child Commission Chairman and members. The girls’ home was being run secretly, without giving information about the children who were rescued from the streets and without obtaining a license, and here they were being made to practice Christian religion. Most of the more than 40 girls aged 6 to 18 years in this girls’ home are Hindus.

Shivraj Singh demanded investigation

After this matter came to light, former Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan wrote on Twitter that the case of 26 girls going missing from a children’s home operated without permission in Parwaliya police station area of ​​Bhopal has come to my notice. Considering the seriousness and sensitivity of the matter, I urge the government to take cognizance and take immediate action.
