Raid 2: Ajay Devgan starts shooting for ‘Raid 2’, makers also unveil the release date of the film

Yes, the makers of the film shared the poster announcing the sequel of ‘Raid’. After the massive success of the 2018 blockbuster ‘Raid’, Ajay Devgan has reunited with director Rajkumar Gupta for ‘Raid 2’. The makers are all set to tell a true story again with the sequel of the film celebrating the unsung heroes of the Income Tax Department.

Shooting of the film started
The sequel of Ajay Devgan’s ‘Raid’ is all set to arrive. The shooting of the film has started today from January 6 in Mumbai and it will be shot extensively in Mumbai, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. ‘Raid 2’ is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishna Kumar under their banners T-Series and Panorama Studios.

Producers shared the poster
The film’s producer Abhishek Pathak announced the news with a poster of the upcoming film. While sharing the post, he wrote in the caption, ‘The wait is over. Ajay Devgan is back as IRS officer Amay Patnaik in Raid 2. Ready to bring another true case on the big screen on 15th November 2024. Now it is clear that this film will hit the theaters on November 15 this year.

The first part of the film ‘Raid’ was based on the real-life Income Tax raid conducted by IT department officials on Sardar Inder Singh in the 1980s, which was the longest raid in Indian history lasting three days and two nights. Now Ajay is ready to do this feat once again. Talking about Ajay’s upcoming films, he is ready for the release of ‘Maidan’. Along with this, he will also be seen in ‘Singham Again’ and the romantic drama ‘Aur Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ with Tabu.
