‘Just to clap…’, Adhokshajanand Dev Teerth asked Swami Nischalanand to apologize on the statement

Saint Adhokshajanand Dev Teerth on Sunday took a dig at Puri Peeth Shankaracharya Swami Nischalanand Saraswati, who raised questions on the sanctity of life in the Ram temple of Ayodhya, and demanded an unconditional apology from him. Tirtha said that with his dirty statements Nischalananda has insulted the 140 crore people who have elected Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister is now one of the most popular leaders in the world.
Shankaracharya of Puri-based Govardhan Peeth, one of the country’s leading Hindu saints, had recently announced that he would not go for the consecration of the idol of Lord Ram in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22. Nischalananda had said that Prime Minister Modi will perform the consecration ceremony and he will not attend the ceremony ‘just to clap’.
Forgot the morality of the scriptures due to ego – Tirtha
Tirtha said that it seems that under the influence of ego he (Nischalananda) has forgotten the fundamental morality of Bhakti Shastra, which says that in devotion a person will not only clap, but also dance. He demanded that Shankaracharya should publicly apologize for his statement. Tirtha said that history says that most of the ancient temples were built by the kings, who were considered the representatives of the people and the consecration ceremonies of these temples were also performed by the kings.
Ramlala’s life consecration on 22 January
He said that the Prime Minister is representing the public in the matter of consecration of the Ram temple and hence it is appropriate that he should consecrate the new temple. A grand ceremony of consecration of Ram temple will be organized in Ayodhya on January 22, in which prominent saints and well-known personalities from across the country have been invited.
