Balram walked barefoot for 40 years waiting for Lord Ram, now will come to Ayodhya and wear shoes

Everyone was waiting for RAM MANDIR for decades. Now Ram temple is being constructed and Ramlala’s life is consecrated on 22nd January. Everyone was waiting for this day but 56-year-old Balram Pandey, resident of Batiagarh block of Damoh district, did not wear shoes and slippers for the last 40 years. He is walking barefoot with the resolve to build Shri Ram temple. But now his resolution is about to be fulfilled. In such a situation, he will soon go to Ayodhya and have darshan of Ramlala. After that, we will wear slippers and shoes on our feet.

Balram’s ancestors lived in Ayodhya
The ancestors of Balram Pandey, a resident of Batiagarh, lived in Ayodhya only. Later the family settled in Batiagarh. Balram Pandey used to visit Ayodhya often. When he was 16 years old, he went to Ayodhya with his relatives in 1983. There he saw that the Lord of the world was sitting on a platform under a tent. The dispute over the ownership of the land of Ram temple in Ayodhya was in the court. He resolved there that he would walk barefoot until the Ram temple is built in Ayodhya. Balram Pandey said that the day the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya is completed, he will go to Ayodhya and wear shoes and slippers there. No matter how much time it takes.

Balram’s ancestors used to worship and give sermons
Balram Pandey’s ancestors lived in Pandey Mohalla of Ayodhya. He earned his living by worshiping and giving sermons. Gradually the work reduced. Ramnath Patel, resident of Futera village of Batiagarh and others used to stay at Pandey’s house in Ayodhya. When it became difficult to survive in Ayodhya, Pandey’s ancestors came to Futera with Patel. This is from 1907. Started worshiping in the temple there. The family was given eight acres of land by the temple. Employment Assistant Bharat Patel told in the media report that Balram’s father Sudama Pandey was born in Futera. Dr. Krishna Murari Asati told that he has been seeing Balram Pandey walking barefoot for many years. It is a matter of pride for us that he lives in our village. He started walking barefoot at an early age with the resolve to build Shri Ram temple.
