Uttarakhand: CM Dhami reached ‘Didi-Bhuli’ festival, gifted schemes worth ₹ 291 crore to Uttarkashi

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was on Uttarkashi tour today. Where he participated in ‘Didi Bhuli Mahotsav’ by doing a road show. Also laid the foundation stone of 24 schemes worth Rs 57.38 crore and inaugurated 38 schemes worth Rs 45.37 crore for Uttarkashi district. CM Dhami said that these schemes will prove to be a milestone in the development of Uttarkashi district.

At the same time, CM Dhami also inaugurated the ‘Developed India Developed Village’ exhibition by worshiping Badri cow at Ramlila Maidan. Along with inspecting the exhibition stalls, he also interacted with the beneficiaries of various schemes. He also distributed checks of grants and assistance to the beneficiaries of various schemes. CM Dhami also laid the foundation stone and inaugurated schemes worth Rs 291 crore. Apart from this, CM Dhami also inaugurated the renovation, upgradation and revival (RMU) works of Tiloth power house of UJVN Limited.

Women doing excellent work in the field of self-employment

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that while the holy land of Uttarkashi has been blessed by Lord Vishwanath, holy places like Gangotri and Yamunotri are present in this great land. Due to which Uttarkashi district has spiritual importance. The mother power of Uttarkashi is doing excellent work in the field of self-employment. Growth centers like Thatur are a perfect example of women empowerment. By joining this centre, many women of the area have become financially self-reliant.

Uttarkashi district got second place in ‘One District One Product’

CM Dhami said that Uttarkashi district is one of the leading districts in the field of animal husbandry. Where milk production is continuously increasing. Uttarkashi has got second place in the agriculture category among the districts across the country in the ‘One District One Product’ award. The mother power here is also working to bring the mantra of ‘self-reliant India’ to the ground. We can never forget the struggle of mother power in the creation of Uttarakhand state.
