85 teachers dismissed in Deoria district of UP, FIR registered, salary worth crores will be recovered

85 teachers posted in various schools of Deoria district have been dismissed from service. FIR has also been registered against everyone. This was investigated jointly by the Basic Education Department and STF in which more than 85 teachers had got jobs with the help of fake certificates. During the long investigation, action has been taken against 85 fake teachers and many teachers have also been hanged. All these fake teachers have taken a salary of more than Rs 25 crore from the government.
Basic Education Officer Shalini Srivastava said that FIR has been lodged against all the teachers and RC of more than Rs 25 crore has been issued. Soon more action will be taken on a large scale. The certificates of all the teachers who have got this job have been found to be fake. The whole matter is about recruitments from 1999 till now.
Srivastava said, ‘Despite the dismissal of 85 teachers from service, the process of verification and investigation is going on. This action has been taken in the context of verification of original documents and fake documents. Prima facie FIR has been registered against all of them. Apart from this, notice was issued for recovery. RC worth about Rs 25-30 crore has been issued. STF and Basic Education Department officials were continuously investigating the complaints to find out the facts. He further said, ‘Investigation is still going on against many teachers.’
Recovery will be made from these fake teachers
He said that Rs 63.86 lakh was received from Ram Lakhan, resident of Salempur Road, Rs 87.60 lakh was received from Ram Bharosa of Thakur Nagar ward, Rs 72.69 lakh was received from Veena Rani, resident of Salahabad ward, Rs 48.24 lakh was received from Sushil Kumar Singh of Teachers Colony, Rs 11.90 lakh was received from Alok Kumar of Haraiya. Rs 10.37 lakh is to be recovered from Gaurav Kumar, Rs 37.65 lakh from Swati Tiwari of Kapripar, Rs 22.62 lakh from Ved Prakash Tiwari of Virajmar, Rs 22.62 lakh from Gulabchand of Bardiha village, Rs 34.79 lakh from Rajesh Kumar of Barsi Par.
Apart from this, 85.17 lakhs were received from Dinanath Tiwari of Dumvaliya village, 54.15 lakhs from Birjanand Yadav of Babnauli Pandey, 77.51 lakhs from Rita Mishra of Kasili, 63.86 lakhs from Renu Bala of Barsipar, 46.50 lakhs from Priyanka of Nonapar, 96 lakhs from Harendra Yadav of Revali. The government recovered Rs 54.42 lakh from Vrinda Lal Gautam of Majhwalia village, Rs 43.50 lakh from Chandrabhushan Yadav of Rangauli, Rs 37.93 lakh from Saroj Yadav of Batrauli, Rs 68.50 lakh from Sanjay Kumar of Bhagalpur and Rs 9.65 lakh from Abhishek Tiwari of Tiwaripur.
