Kangana Ranaut wants to make a film on Bilkis Bano

Recently, after the Supreme Court verdict on Bilkis Bano case, a social media user has written a message to Kangana, to which Kangana has also replied. On social media platform I salute your passion for ensuring that women get their rights. I want to ask you, would you like to make a film on ‘Bilkis Bano’? Not for feminism, being a woman, would you like to bring her story to the world?’ Kangana wrote in response to the tweet, ‘I want to make a film on ‘Bilkis Bano’ and have also done a lot of research for the last three years. Is on that script.

‘OTT platform does not want to work on this project’

Kangana told that but no OTT platform wants to work with her in this project. The actress herself revealed this on her social media handle X and said- ‘Apart from ‘Netflix’ and ‘Amazon Prime’, I had also shown the script to ‘Jio Cinema’. Netflix and Amazon Prime refused saying that they found the film to be politically motivated and were prohibited from making films on political issues. Regarding ‘Jio Cinema’, Kangana has written that she supports BJP, hence Jio Cinema will not work with her.
