Before Shri Ramotsav, Uttarakhand Transport Corporation has started direct bus service from Dehradun to Ayodhya. After the announcement by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, regular bus service will operate from Doon ISBT to Ayodhya from Tuesday. This bus will leave from Dehradun at 11.30 am and will reach Ayodhya at 5 am the next day.
This bus will leave from Ayodhya at 3 pm and reach Dehradun at 8 am the next day. Now ordinary bus service is being started. According to the officials of the Transport Corporation, as per the demand of the passengers, starting of Super Deluxe Volvo Bus Service will also be considered.
Bus service will start from Dehradun from Tuesday
On the demand of the people of the state regarding Shri Ramotsav to be held in Ayodhya on January 22, the Chief Minister had ordered the Transport Secretary two days ago to operate direct bus service from Dehradun, Haridwar and Haldwani to Ayodhya. Bus service has started from Haldwani, now bus service from Dehradun will start from Tuesday.
Fare fixed at Rs 1095 per passenger
General Manager of Transport Corporation, Deepak Jain said that the bus operated from Dehradun will reach Ayodhya via Haridwar, Najibabad, Nagina, Dhampur, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Sitapur, Lucknow, Awadh, Barabanki. The fare of this bus from Dehradun to Ayodhya has been fixed at Rs 1095 per passenger. This bus will cover a distance of 754 km one way. In view of the safety of the passengers, two drivers have been appointed on the bus.
