Uttarakhand: International buyer seller meet will be organized in Doon, global doors will open for Uttarakhandi products

‘International Conclave cum Buyer Seller Meet’ will be organized on 12th January. It is being organized by the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA). Regarding which Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi took a meeting of officials. It is believed that organizing this meet will open possibilities for export of Uttarakhand’s products.

Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi discussed all the important topics in detail with the officials. He also instructed the officials to complete the outline and all the preparations for the international conclave to be held on January 12 within the time limit. Apart from this, he asked the officials to organize the program in a well-planned manner and with mutual coordination.

In fact, it is being organized with the aim of exporting and promoting various local products of Uttarakhand as well as increasing contact with the international market for the producers. International buyers from different countries will participate in this international conclave. This conclave will provide an excellent opportunity for business and networking among the participants.

At the same time, technical sessions, dialogue between sellers and buyers, stalls of other departments including agriculture, horticulture, organic board, CAP will also be set up in the conclave. Farmers, FPOs, cultivators, agricultural scientists will also be present in the program. Various aspects of packaging and export potential of millets and its value added products will be discussed in the session.

Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi said that there are many such FPOs in Uttarakhand which are doing good work. They should be specially invited. He also said that the farmers of the state will definitely get benefit through the workshop organized by APEDA, Government of India.
