Uttarakhand / Udham Singh Nagar: Liquor smuggler hits bike, two year old innocent dies, father seriously injured

A liquor smuggler riding a speeding bike hit a tuk-tuk in Kichha of Udham Singh Nagar district. A two year old innocent child died in this accident. While the father was seriously injured. The injured have been referred to the higher centre.

Liquor smuggler absconded leaving his bike behind
A liquor smuggler riding a speeding bike hit the tuk-tuk so hard that the tuk-tuk overturned. After the accident, the liquor smuggler fled leaving the bike there. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot, recovered liquor bags from the bike and started searching for the accused.

Father living on dialysis seriously injured
According to the information received, Nand Kishore, son of Manohar Lal, resident of village Igra police station, Baheri district, Bareilly, supports his family by driving a tuk-tuk. Nand Kishore has kidney failure. Due to which he has to undergo dialysis.

On Monday, Nand Kishore was going to Rudrapur district hospital to get dialysis done. During this time, his wife Saraswati, his sons Lakshya and Ishwar (2) were also present with him. They were going in a tuk-tuk when the bike hit the tuk-tuk near the police post of Sirsa police station Bahedi.

Chaos among family members
The collision was so severe that the tuk-tuk overturned and Nand Kishore’s two-year-old son Ishwar, who was sitting in it, died on the spot. While Nand Kishore was badly injured in the accident. There has been chaos among the family members since the death of Ishwar two years ago.
