Book tickets online to watch the Republic Day Parade, know the method, how to book

Republic Day i.e. 26 January is celebrated to symbolize the adoption of the Constitution of India. On this day a special parade is organized at Vijay Chowk. The Republic Day Parade will start from Vijay Chowk at 10 am and cover a distance of 5 kilometres, with the final stop at the National Stadium. If you also want to see the parade, you can book tickets.

The parade on the duty path showcases the rich culture and history of India. People from all over the country come here to watch the parade, which includes cultural performances, military displays and much more. Indian citizens can take reserved or unreserved seats. Whose price is Rs 20 and Rs 100. However, booking of tickets will start from today i.e. 10th January. Tickets will be available till January 25 but only a limited number of tickets will be available every day.

  • Visit the official web portal of the Ministry of Defense aamantran.mod.gov.in.
  • Login or create a new account.
  • Fill personal details like name, date of birth, mobile number etc. Verify with the OTP sent to the mobile number.
  • Choose an event from the options which include FDR Republic Day Parade, Republic Day Parade, Beating the Retreat.
  • For verification purpose, provide participant information and upload an original photo ID.
  • Download the ticket by completing the online payment process.
  • Where to get tickets for Republic Day Parade offline?

Offline tickets will be available to you at Government of India Tourist Office and DTDC counter and IDTC travel counter. Departmental sales counters will sell tickets from 10 am to 5:30 pm daily, while the Parliament House reception will sell tickets from 11 am to 4 pm. The Tourist Office of the Government of India will remain closed on Sunday while the Parliament House will remain closed on weekends and holidays.

What is required to buy offline ticket?

  • Visit authorized offline outlets or ticket counters for Republic Day events.
  • Provide identity proof and fill a form with personal details including name, date of birth, mobile number etc.
  • Choose an event from the options which include FDR Republic Day Parade, Republic Day Parade, Beating the Retreat.
  • Provide a photo copy of the original photo ID for verification purposes.
  • Complete the payment process and collect the ticket.

Spectators can also watch the parade from the comfort of their homes. For this, there will be online stream on Doordarshan’s official YouTube channel or Press Bureau of India (PBI) website. At the same time, Doordarshan will also telecast the parade live on television.

Uttarakhand / Dehradun: A heart wrenching incident has come to light from Vikasnagar in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. Where a young man killed his own mother and fled from the spot. Actually this incident is of 3rd August. Where Herbertpur police got information about a fire in a house in Rambagh area. When the police reached the spot, they found the burnt body of an old woman inside. The owner of the house, Sanjay Singh Rana, identified the body as his wife Suresho Devi alias Vandana Rana. Earlier it seemed that the woman died due to burning in the fire but the investigation revealed the case of murder. In such a situation, today the police has arrested him. Murdered mother when he did not get money for drugs The next day of the incident, the husband of the deceased, Sanjay Singh, while giving a complaint to the police, told that his son Manmohan Singh used to live with his mother. He was addicted to drugs and often used to demand money from his mother. There used to be a lot of quarrel between the two when the mother refused. The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
