Uttarakhand: CS reviewed the progress of construction of laboratories and hostels in schools of the state
Chief Secretary Dr. S.S. Sandhu reviewed the progress of construction of laboratories and hostels in schools of the state at the Secretariat. The Chief Secretary directed to ensure availability of laboratories to all the students in the state. He said that the help of best counseling agencies should be taken so that students can get the facility of career counselling.
The Chief Secretary said that initially the schemes should be implemented rapidly in Adarsh Vidyalayas. He said that there is no dearth of talent in the state, laboratories and career counseling can bring a big change in the youth of the state. He said that for what better thing can be given to the students of the state, seminars should be organized with the best career counseling agencies of the country and their suggestions should be taken. And the suggestions received should be implemented as soon as possible and the youth of the state should be provided direction for a good career.
The Chief Secretary said that all types of educational facilities cannot be provided immediately in remote areas, hostel facilities should be made available in model schools around such schools. He said that there will be no shortage of budget for this. With this, good and quality education can be provided to the future youth of the state. Secretary Ravinath Raman was present on this occasion.
