Uttarakhand: Ganesh Godyal raised demand for investigation regarding VIP in Ankita murder case
Congress is vocal about the much talked about Ankita Bhandari murder case of Uttarakhand. Yesterday, Ankita Bhandari’s mother had revealed the name of a so-called big leader of BJP and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. After which Congress is attacking the Dhami government. Former state president of Congress Ganesh Godiyal said that the police should investigate the case of Ankita murder case instead of seeking evidence from the family members of the VIP.
Mother exposed the name of so called VIP
It should be noted that the Congress Party has started raising the issue of Ankita murder case vigorously. State Congress President Karan Mahara is continuously attacking the government regarding the so-called VIP in Ankita murder case. Now, former state president of Congress Ganesh Godiyal said that the police should investigate the case of VIP in Ankita murder case instead of seeking evidence from her family members. Ganesh Godiyal has raised many questions while opening a front against the BJP government in this matter. He says that recently a new twist has emerged in this matter.
Ganesh Godiyal targeted Dhami government
When Ankita’s mother has revealed the name of that VIP through a video. However, he said that no person can be declared a criminal by taking names. But in such a heinous murder case, when the relatives of the deceased are taking the name of a person, then a suspicious situation is created. Ganesh Godiyal has demanded a high level investigation into this matter. He says that instead of seeking evidence from Ankita’s family regarding VIP, the police should investigate the matter. Terming it as playing with the citizens of the state, he said that when a personal relative of a deceased person is calling a person suspicious and demanding action, then it is the job of the police to investigate the case in an impartial manner.
Demand for police investigation
In this case, at the behest of the state government, the police have been brought forward and Ankita’s family has been asked to give evidence. He further said that the people of the state were worried about who is the VIP in this matter? While Ankita’s family members are allegedly taking the name of a big BJP leader in the case, the police should investigate it.
Know what was the whole matter
Ankita Bhandari, a resident of Shrikot Dobh in Pauri district of Garhwal division, used to work as a receptionist at Vanantra Resort located in Yamkeshwar area. Ankita Bhandari (19 years old) suddenly went missing from Vanantra Resort on 18 September 2022. After her disappearance, Pulkit Arya, owner of Vanantra Resort, filed a missing report to mislead Ankita’s family. After which Ankita’s body was recovered from Chilla Canal on 24 September. Pulkit Arya and his two associates Ankit Gupta and Saurabh Bhaskar are accused of pushing Ankita into the Chilla canal. It is alleged that Pulkit Arya wanted Ankita Bhandari to do wrong work in the resort, which Ankita Bhandari had clearly refused. Which later also became the reason for Ankita’s death.
