Now hope from Supreme Court! IPS officer Sanjay Kundu challenged the order of Himachal High Court in SC; The fight for the post of DGP continues

After being disappointed by the Himachal High Court, IPS officer Sanjay Kundu has approached the Supreme Court.

No relief received from Himachal High Court

It is known that on January 9, Himachal Pradesh High Court had refused to withdraw the transfer order of DGP Sanjay Kundu and SP Kangra Shalini Agnihotri. Rejecting the applications of both the officers, the court said that there appears to be no reason why the transfer order should be withdrawn.

Challenge filed in Supreme Court against the order

In this regard, the IPS officer has now filed a case in the Supreme Court against the order of the Himachal High Court. Let us tell you that the DGP of Himachal Pradesh was accused of killing hotelier Nishant. To ensure that the image is not tarnished, DGP and Kangra SP Shalini Agnihotri had filed a petition in the High Court to withdraw the transfer order. Which was canceled by the High Court.

What are the allegations against Sanjay Kundu?

It is noteworthy that Kangra based businessman Nishant Sharma had given a complaint to Kangra Police on October 28, accusing some people as well as DGP Sanjay Kundu of threatening him. Nishant Sharma had said that his life is in danger. After this the matter reached the High Court and the court had directed to remove him from the post in this matter. After which the DGP challenged his order in the Supreme Court.
