Uttarakhand: CM Dhami gave a gift in the name of Shri Ram, special bus started, this is the route, time table and fare

Keeping in view the convenience of the devotees going to Ayodhya for the darshan of Lord Shri Ram, Uttarakhand Transport Corporation on Tuesday started direct bus service from Dehradun to Ayodhya. The bus was flagged off after the rituals at ISBT.

This bus will leave from Doon daily at 11:30 am and reach Ayodhya at 5:30 am the next day. The bus fare from Doon to Ayodhya has been kept at Rs 1095 per passenger. The bus will cover a distance of 754 km one way. In view of the safety of the passengers, two drivers have been appointed on the bus.

Shri Ram will sit on 22nd January

Before the Shri Ramotsav to be held in Ayodhya on January 22, the people of the state had demanded from Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to operate direct bus service of Uttarakhand Transport Corporation to Ayodhya from different bus stands of the state.

CM Dhami had given orders

At present there was no direct bus service to Ayodhya from Dehradun, Rishikesh and Haridwar. Transport Corporation buses operate only up to Lucknow and Kanpur. There is no direct train service on this route. In such a situation, four days ago the Chief Minister had ordered the Transport Secretary to start direct bus service to Ayodhya. In this sequence, first bus service was started from Haldwani and now bus service was started from Dehradun on Tuesday. This bus will return from Ayodhya at 3 pm and reach Dehradun at 9 am the next day.

On Tuesday, Divisional Manager of Transport Corporation Sanjay Gupta and Assistant General Manager of Rural Depot Pooja Kehra flagged off the bus after offering prayers. This bus will reach Ayodhya via Haridwar, Najibabad, Nagina, Dhampur, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Sitapur, Lucknow, Barabanki. The Transport Corporation has also started direct bus service from Rishikesh-Haridwar to Ayodhya from Wednesday. This bus from Haridwar depot left from Rishikesh bus stand at 7 pm, while from Haridwar at 8.30 pm.

There is excitement in the Devbhoomi since the date of installation of the new child form idol of Lord Shri Ram in the grand Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya has been fixed. A large number of people are eager to go to Ayodhya and have the darshan of Lord Shri Ram. In view of this, the government has decided to start bus services from major cities of the state. It has already started. In the coming days, bus services will also be increased according to the number of devotees.

16 passengers in the bus from Doon

On the first day, 16 passengers boarded the bus bound for Ayodhya from Dehradun ISBT. Of these, six passengers were from Ayodhya and 10 from Bareilly. Transport Corporation officials said that eight passengers boarded this bus from Haridwar also for Ayodhya, while the remaining passengers were from Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow and Barabanki.
