What happened during the court hearing
Additional Solicitor General said that ‘whenever Jain requires bail, he seeks bail on medical grounds and gets admitted to the hospital. Whenever there is a bail hearing in the court, he becomes unconscious, which is a shocking situation. However, the lawyer appearing for Jain in the Supreme Court rejected these claims. After this, the bench listed the matter for hearing on January 17. Besides, Jain’s interim bail was also extended till further orders.
Satyendra Jain is accused of money laundering and he was granted interim bail in this case in May last year. Since then, Jain’s bail period has been continuously increasing.
