Uttarakhand: ‘National Youth Day’ CM participated in the program organized on the theme “Youth As Job Creators”

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in a program organized on the theme “Youth As Job Creators” at Himalayan Cultural Center, Nimbuwala Garhi Cantt, Dehradun on Friday on the occasion of ‘National Youth Day’. During this, the Chief Minister announced that the sports grounds of all the schools and colleges of the state will be strengthened to make the youth of the state aware of sports and to connect them with the drug-free campaign. These playgrounds will be used by sports lovers after the academic hours of schools/college.

On the occasion of National Youth Day, the Chief Minister honored the youth and Mahila Mangal Dals who did commendable work in the state with Vivekananda Youth Award. In which Yuvak Mangal Dal of Jangliyagaon, Bhimtal, one lakh Yuvak Mangal Dal of Nagal, Jwalapur, Doiwala, 50 thousand Yuvak Mangal Dal of Danda Jalalpur were given 25 thousand rupees for first, second and third place respectively, while among Mahila Mangal Dal, Mahila Mangal Dal was given An amount of Rs 1 lakh was given to Haripur Kala, Doiwala, Mahila Mangal Dal Dogda, Rs 50 thousand to Bhimtal and Rs 25 thousand to Mahila Mangal Dal Mudayani, Champawat. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also honored the National Youth Award recipients of the state and other youth who provided employment.

Remembering the great saint, spiritual guru and inspiration for the youth, the historical man Swami Vivekananda, who spread Sanatan culture and Hindu philosophy across the world, the Chief Minister said that he was the great light of India. In his short lifetime, he worked to hoist the religious flag of India all over the world. He said that there is a feeling of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam in our values. Following the path shown by Swami Vivekananda, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is trying to take India towards developed India. During the Corona period, all the countrymen got free vaccine, not only this, India provided Corona vaccine to many countries of the world. The whole world saw this Indian spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. Today, under the leadership of the Prime Minister, India has got a different identity at the global level.

The Chief Minister said that Swami Vivekananda ji always inspired the youth to do great work. Today it is our youth power which is working to change the destiny of the country and the state. It is the hard work, activism and dedication of our youth that energizes all of us. Swami Vivekananda also had a spiritual relationship with our Devbhoomi, he stayed in Mayawati Ashram, Lohaghat for a long time. By adopting the thoughts of Swami Vivekananda, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made the lives of crores of Indians meaningful.

The Chief Minister said that this time the theme of National Youth Day has been kept as “Youth As Job Creator”, and this theme also suits the youth of our Uttarakhand, because the youth of our Uttarakhand are now not only getting employment but also providing employment. Those are also being made. He said that enterprises need three main elements to grow – capital, courage and connection with people. If you have capital, courage and connection with people, you will be able to get a job as well as become a job provider.

Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Rekha Arya said that Swami Vivekananda ji introduced the world to India’s rich cultural heritage by leading India in the Chicago Religion Conference. He said that youth is full of enthusiasm and ambition. 30 percent of the population of Uttarakhand is youth. Uttarakhand is full of nature and youth power. He said that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has set a target of making Uttarakhand the leading state of India in every field by 2025, youth will play an important role in this.
