It is painful to call Ram imaginary: Vice President

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar was addressing the inaugural session of the ‘National Electro Homeopathy’ symposium organized in Jaipur. During this he also said that not believing in Ram is an insult to the Constitution. The Vice President said, “I feel very pained when some ignorant person, ignorant of history, gives an affidavit that Ram is imaginary.”

He said, “The ideal of Ram and Ram-Rajya is enshrined in the Constitution of India and the makers of the Constitution have kept it at its peak.” Dhankhar said that there are more than twenty pictures in our Constitution and in them the fundamental rights are mentioned. There is a picture of Ram, Lakshman and Sita. Those who are disrespecting Lord Ram are actually disrespecting the makers of our Constitution. The makers of our Constitution have very thoughtfully and judiciously placed those pictures of Lord Ram there.

The Vice President said that the society will remain healthy only when all the parts of the society remain together. Our culture says that everyone should work together and live in unity. He said, “Those who want to divide the society into parts, want to spread poison for immediate political gains, they are the ones who talk about 35 versus one, 20 versus 10.”

There is a need to teach a lesson to people who divide society

Dhankhar said that such people are not only enemies of the society but also their own enemies and their conduct is not only indecent but dangerous. He further said, “I request you that there is no need to teach a lesson to such elements, because they are our own. There is a need to make them aware, there is a need to make them understand, there is a need to bring them on the right path. This work should not be done in an institutional manner, it should be done in our neighbourhood, in our society, in the class to which we belong.

He said that it is the ultimate duty of all of us to work to unite the society. According to the statement, the Vice President expressed confidence in the new leadership of Rajasthan. He expressed confidence that under the new leadership, Rajasthan will be the highest progressing state in the country. The Vice President urged those present to remain committed to Indianness and nationalism.

National interest should always remain paramount

The Vice President further said that national interest should always remain paramount. In this context, he also warned people against such elements who, for immediate political gains, sow seeds of division and disharmony in the society, undermine the country’s achievements and spread misconceptions about the country’s progress in the society.

He also urged the farmers to encourage their youth to take up agriculture and agriculture related business. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa were also present on this occasion. During his visit to Jaipur, the Vice President visited the house of former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan Harishankar Bhabhada and inquired about his well-being.
