‘Inauguration of the temple in Ayodhya through the Prime Minister is the murder of justice and secularism’, Muslim Personal Law Board said on life respect

AIMPLB On Ram Mandir | AIMPLB On Ram Mandir:

All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) Chairman Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani has raised questions on the consecration of Ram Lalla in the Ram temple on January 22 in the presence of PM Narendra Modi. He has said that this is a murder of justice and secularism.

Apart from this, he has also claimed that there is no evidence that Ramchandra ji was born at that particular place. Maulana has also given special advice to the minority community on the appeal of lighting lamps on the occasion of life consecration.

Questions raised on Supreme Court’s decision

In a statement issued on Saturday (13 January), Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani also raised questions on the decision of the Supreme Court. In his statement issued on the letter head of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board, he has said, “What is happening in Ayodhya is based on sheer cruelty. Because the Supreme Court has accepted that there was no temple beneath it, which was demolished and a mosque was built.” And there is no evidence that Shri Ramchandraji was born at that particular place. The court has given this decision on the basis of the belief of a section of the majority community which is separate from the law and which is mentioned by the Hindu brothers. “It is not in the holy scriptures. This is definitely a major attack on the democracy of the country. This decision has hurt the hearts of Muslims.”

‘Inauguration by PM for political purposes’

Maulana Rahmani has said that on the basis of the decision of the Supreme Court, a Ram temple is being constructed in place of a mosque where namaz has been offered for hundreds of years. The special interest of the government and ministers in it and its inauguration by the Prime Minister (Narendra Modi) is the murder of justice and secularism. Its promotion across the country for political purposes is to rub salt on the wounds of minorities. Therefore, the All India Muslim Personal Law Board strongly condemns this non-secular and undemocratic attitude of the government.

‘Lighting lamps is un-Islamic’

On the appeal of lighting lamps across the country on the day of Pran Pratistha, Maulana Rahmani said that if Hindu brothers light lamps or raise slogans to celebrate the construction of the temple, then we have no objection to it, but it is important for Muslims to participate in such programs. Taking it is an un-Islamic practice.
Maulana Rahmani said that it is being said that lamps should be lit on 22 January and slogans of Shri Ram should be raised. The Muslims of the country should understand that this is a Mushrikan practice.
