PM Modi reached the house of Union Minister of State L Murugan, took part in Pongal festival
Amid Pongal festivities, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at the residence of Minister of State L Murugan in Delhi on Sunday. During this, PM Modi took part in the rituals of Pongal festival. Apart from PM Modi, Puducherry Lieutenant Governor and Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan were also present at Murugan’s residence.
Earlier, PM Modi wished the countrymen a happy Makar Sankranti and Magh Bihu festival. He said, ‘The country celebrated the festival of Lohri yesterday. Some people are celebrating Makar Sankranti today and some people will celebrate tomorrow, Magh Bihu is also coming, I wish the countrymen all the best for these festivals.
