Rahul reaches Manipur for Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra; The flight was delayed due to fog in Delhi; Gehlot-Pilot and Digvijay also went along

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra started today i.e. from January 14 from Thoubal, Manipur. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge flagged off the yatra.

Before the visit, Rahul Gandhi, while addressing a gathering, said – In Manipur, brothers, sisters, parents died before our eyes and till date the Prime Minister of India has not come to Manipur to wipe your tears or hug you. it’s such a shame.

Rahul further said – We have come to listen to you, not to speak our mind. At the same time, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said – Modi ji goes for a walk in the sea, chants Ram-Ram but does not come to Manipur. He has Ram in his mouth and a knife by his side.

Along with Rahul, many senior leaders like Ashok Gehlot, Sachin Pilot, Digvijay Singh, Salman Khurshid, Anand Sharma and Rajiv Shukla reached Manipur. Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will cover 110 districts across 15 states. In this, Rahul will travel a distance of 6700 km. The yatra will end in Mumbai on March 20.

Rahul will travel more than 6 thousand kilometers
The yatra, which will end on March 20, will cover 337 assembly seats in 15 states and 110 districts. During this period, Rahul Gandhi will travel more than 6 thousand 713 kilometers by bus and on foot. It will start from Manipur, pass through Nagaland, Assam, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat and end in Maharashtra.

Jairam Ramesh said – This is not an election journey
Party General Secretary Jairam Ramesh held a press conference on Saturday, January 13 regarding Congress’s Nyay Yatra. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is showing golden dreams of Amritkaal, but the reality is that the last 10 years have been a period of injustice.

He further said that social, economic and political injustice has happened in the last 10 years, keeping that in mind Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra is being taken out. Rahul Gandhi will go among the public and tell about what is in the mind of the Congress Party. This is an ideological journey, not an election journey.

Politics on travel permission
Even before the start of Congress’s Nyaya Yatra, permission was in the news. The party was going to start it from Imphal, the capital of Manipur. For this, on January 2, he had sought permission from the state government to start the yatra from Hapta Kangjeibung ground.

Earlier this was refused citing law and order. However, on January 10, permission was granted with certain conditions. The government said that not more than 1 thousand people will be allowed at the venue. After this, Manipur Congress President Keesham Meghchandra said that the conditions were worrying for us. After this we decided to change the place to Thoubal. The Thoubal administration put a condition before the Congress that this program should end in 1 hour and there should not be a crowd of more than 3 thousand.

Trying to win 25 seats in North East by starting the journey from Manipur
​​The journey has been started from Thoubal keeping in mind the North-Eastern states. Strategists believe that people have become disillusioned with the BJP due to the violence in Manipur. This is the reason why Rahul Gandhi will stay here for 13 days for 25 seats of North-East.

In fact, more than 200 deaths have occurred so far in the ongoing violence between the Kuki and Meitei communities in Manipur since May 3. At the same time, more than a thousand people have been injured. More than 65 thousand people have become homeless.

Nyaya Yatra will last the longest in UP
Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will stay in Manipur for a day. It will then enter Nagaland and cover 257 KM and 5 districts in two days and 833 KM and 17 districts in Assam in eight days. After this the yatra will go to Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya for a day each.

According to the route map, the yatra will last for five days in West Bengal, covering 523 KM and seven districts. 425 km and 7 districts will be covered in Bihar for four days. After this the Yatra in Jharkhand will cover 804 KM and 13 districts in eight days.

The Nyaya Yatra in Odisha will cover 341 KM and four districts in four days and in Chhattisgarh it will cover 536 KM and seven districts in five days. This yatra of Congress will spend maximum time of 11 days in Uttar Pradesh and cover 20 districts.

The journey in Madhya Pradesh will cover 698 KM and 9 districts in seven days. It will go to 2 districts of Rajasthan in a day. Rahul’s visit will last for five days each in Gujarat and Maharashtra, covering a distance of 445 km and 479 km respectively. It will conclude on 20th or 21st March in Mumbai.

Congress launched song for the yatra
On January 12, Congress launched a new song for the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. The party named it ‘Nyaya Geet’ with the tagline ‘Saho Mat-Daro Mat’. It shows some glimpses of protesting women wrestlers, Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Padayatra from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, deaths during the Corona pandemic and the Congress leader’s conversation with farmers and laborers.
