Indian women’s hockey team ready for Olympics! Entry into semi-finals by defeating Italy

The Indian women’s hockey team seems fully prepared to play in the Paris Olympics to be held this year. But before that the team has to qualify for the Olympics. The FIH Women’s Olympic Qualifier Tournament is now the last chance for the Indian women’s team for the Paris Olympics.
Only the top-3 teams in this tournament will be able to qualify for the Olympics. In such a situation, the Indian team has shown its strong game and entered the semi-finals. Now a win will give the Indian team entry into the Olympics.

This is how Indian players scored goals
Indian women’s hockey team entered the semi-finals by defeating Italy on Wednesday (January 16). The Indian team defeated Italy 5-1. This was the Indian team’s third and last match of Pool B under the FIH Women’s Olympic Qualifiers. This match was played at Jaipal Singh Astroturf Hockey Stadium in Marang Gomke, Ranchi.
The first goal for the Indian team was scored by Udita in the very first minute of the match. He scored this goal from a penalty. After this Udita scored the second goal in the 55th minute. Before this, Deepika had scored a goal in the 41st minute. While Salima Tete scored in the 45th minute and Navneet Kaur scored in the 53rd minute.
Four semi-finalist teams of the tournament decided
Whereas the only goal for Italy was scored by Camilla Machin in 60 minutes. Now the four semi-finalist teams of the FIH Women’s Olympic Qualifier have been decided. India will face Germany in the first semi-final match. Whereas the second semi-final match will be played between Japan and America.
