Uttarakhand: CM Dhami had a virtual conversation with the women beneficiaries of Bageshwar district under the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday interacted with the women beneficiaries of Bageshwar district under the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra through virtual medium from the Secretariat. On this occasion, the Chief Minister interacted with 05 women beneficiaries and also got to know their views. The beneficiaries also expressed their gratitude to the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister for the facilities provided to them under various schemes of the Center and the State.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while wishing everyone a happy Uttarayani, said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, schemes were made keeping in mind the people of every section of the society and their benefits are being extended to the people standing on the last line of the society. Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra is being organized in all the gram panchayats of the state to provide comprehensive information about the government schemes to the common people. He said that the Central Government’s Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana and public welfare schemes have proved to be a boon for the people. The Chief Minister instructed District Magistrate Bageshwar that more attention should be paid to the wide publicity of the schemes so that the eligible people can get the full benefits of the schemes under various schemes. He said that the mother power of the state is doing commendable work towards promoting local products. The demand for many products made by women self-help groups is increasing rapidly. He said that people should be made aware about House of Himalayas. People should be motivated to continuously promote the production of Kiwi in Bageshwar.

On this occasion, while interacting with the beneficiaries of women’s groups through virtual medium, they gave information about the production, sales, income etc. of their groups. The Chief Minister also instructed the District Magistrate to continuously monitor the groups and provide necessary assistance by taking suggestions from them to further their production. On this occasion, Mrs. Pooja associated with National Rural Livelihood Mission, Mrs. Geeta Khetwal, beneficiary of Chief Minister Self-Employment Scheme, Mrs. Anandi Devi, Mrs. Manju Bora and Mrs. Sunita Mehta, beneficiaries of schemes in the field of agriculture, animal husbandry and horticulture, interacted with the Chief Minister.

On this occasion, Additional Secretary Ranveer Singh Chauhan, Anand Swarup and District Magistrate Bageshwar Mrs. Anuradha Pal were present through virtual medium.
