Petition filed in Allahabad High Court demanding ban on the consecration ceremony in Ayodhya
A PIL has been filed in the Allahabad High Court to ban the consecration of Ram Lalla to be held in Ayodhya on January 22. In the petition, a demand has been made to ban the Pran Pratishtha program in Ram temple in Ayodhya. The petitioner has also demanded a ban on the loss of life at the hands of PM Narendra Modi. Also citing Shankaracharya’s objections, it has been termed as against Sanatan tradition.
In the petition filed by Bhola Das of Ghaziabad, it is alleged that BJP is organizing this event to take advantage of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. It has been said in the petition that Shankaracharya has objection to the Pran Pratistha programme. Not only this, no religious programs are organized in the month of Pus. Apart from this, the temple is still incomplete and no deity or deity can be consecrated in the incomplete temple.
It has also been said in the petition that apart from this, participation of PM Narendra Modi and CM Yogi in this Pran Pratistha program is against the Constitution. In the petition, the program has been called only an election stunt. This public interest litigation has been filed on Tuesday. Petitioner’s advocate Arvind Kumar Bind said that the petition has been filed on Tuesday. He said that efforts will be made to have the High Court accept the petition and hear it as soon as possible.
