Women who defrauded Vivek Oberoi of crores get relief, court grants interim bail

Vivek Oberoi had accused his three business partners of fraud last year. According to the actor, he was made to invest money in a company with the promise of profits and that amount was allegedly used by the accused for their own benefit. A representative of the actor and his wife Priyanka had filed a fraud case based on the allegations.

Hearing this case, the Bombay High Court has now given interim protection from arrest to two women accused of cheating the actor. According to a report, Vivek had approached the judiciary alleging fraud. The actor filed a complaint against his business partners (Nandita Saha, Radhika Nanda and Sanjay Saha) accusing them of investing money in an event and film production firm with the promise of making profits and allegedly using the amount for their own benefit. A case was filed.

Now the Bombay High Court has granted interim relief from imprisonment to two women named in the case. However, both the accused women will have to appear for questioning at the police station for three consecutive days. According to media reports, a chartered accountant had filed this FIR on behalf of Oberoi. Various incidents of fraud were mentioned in it.
