‘America should stop threatening Russia’, Russian Foreign Minister also warned the West
Russia rejects US proposal to restart talks on nuclear arms control. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, addressing an annual press conference, said that it is not possible to start these talks as long as the US continues to provide arms to Ukraine.
Western countries should stop threatening Russia: Lavrov
Foreign Minister Lavrov accused Western countries of arming Ukraine and encouraging it to attack Russian territories. He said that Russia will achieve its goals in Ukraine regardless of the American arms it receives. He further said that Moscow has not threatened the West with nuclear weapons, but rather Russia has warned the West to stop threatening Moscow.
America should change its policy towards Russia
Speaking on the US proposal to restart talks on nuclear arms control, he said that Russia has rejected this proposal of America. He further said that for such talks, Washington first needs to change its current policy towards Russia.
The West should learn from history
The Russian Foreign Minister said that we are working to make the ongoing Russian campaign in Ukraine successful at all costs.
