The central government has announced a half-day holiday on January 22 due to the consecration of Ram temple in Ayodhya. According to the office memorandum issued by the Ministry of Personnel of the Central Government, in view of the sentiments and overwhelming requests of the employees, the Central Government has declared half-day holiday in all Central Government offices, Central Institutions and Central Industrial Establishments till 2:30 pm on January 22, 2024. has announced.

Ramlala’s consecration is going to happen in Ayodhya on 22nd January and it is being celebrated all over the country. States like Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh have already declared a holiday on this occasion. Now the Central Government has also announced a half-day holiday in all its offices and institutions.

Central government institutions will remain closed till 2.30 pm

Let us tell you that the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of the new idol of Ram Lala in the sanctum sanctorum of Ram temple in Ayodhya is to be held on Monday, January 22. This ceremony is scheduled to be performed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Personnel Ministry, in an order issued to all ministries/departments of the Central Government, said, “The consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya will be celebrated all over India on January 22, 2024. “To enable employees to participate in this celebration, it has been decided that all Central Government offices, Central Institutions and Central Industrial Establishments across India will remain closed for half a day till 2.30 pm on 22 January 2024.”

Union Minister of State for Personnel Jitendra Singh said that this decision has been taken in view of the tremendous enthusiasm of the people. He said, “There was a lot of demand from the public across the country regarding this. The decision to close central government offices for half a day on January 22 has been taken keeping in mind the public sentiments.”

Ganesh worship and Varun worship today

Meanwhile, the rituals for the consecration of Ram temple are continuing even today. Today Ganesh puja and Varun puja are being done. Earlier, the idol of Ramlala was brought inside the sanctum sanctorum on Wednesday night. 121 priests will be assigned their puja duties and Vaastu puja will take place outside the sanctum sanctorum in the temple premises. Today the idol will be kept in water which is called “Jaladhivas”. The rituals will continue till January 21. Ram Mandir ‘Pran Pratishtha’ will begin at 12:20 pm on January 22 and is expected to end by 1 pm.
