Uttarakhand: Working with integrated approach on the announcements made by CM, officers should complete the schemes as soon as possible – ACS Radha Raturi
Additional Chief Secretary Mrs. Radha Raturi directed to immediately submit the master plan for the development of Purnagiri area and also directed the government level officials and District Magistrate Champawat to complete the plans as soon as possible by working with an integrated approach on the announcements of the Honorable Chief Minister. Instructed to do so. Along with this, Mrs. Radha Raturi has instructed District Magistrate Champawat to organize health camps in the district, especially in remote and inaccessible rural areas, to provide regular health check-ups and necessary medical facilities to pregnant women. Additional Chief Secretary in the Secretariat, Smt. Radha Raturi reviewed the progress of the announcements made by the Chief Minister for Champawat Assembly constituency.
In the meeting, the Urban Development Department informed that regarding giving the shape of a stadium to Goralchod Ground of Champawat, a proposal has been sent to the Secretary’s residence by the District Magistrate for financial and administrative approval of Rs 45 lakh. The work of construction of Muktidham in Banbasa will soon be transferred to the Irrigation Department. Work on DPR is being done by UUSDA regarding sewer line in Champawat city area. The government has sought report from the site selection committee regarding Panchmukhi Gaushala Dham in Champawat. Proceedings are in progress regarding the construction of community hall in Tanakpur.
The Tourism Department informed that there are plans for construction of Adventure Park in Champawat, construction of Heritage Street, development of Purnagiri area as eco-tourism hub, construction of open air theater near Gauralchod Maidan and development of tourism infrastructure near Golju Temple. The proceedings in this regard are in progress.
Public Works Department informed that estimates are being prepared regarding construction of 10 km road in rural areas (in different villages) in Tehsil Champawat. The DPR for the construction of motorway from Chamtaula to Olna will be available to the government by January 29. Construction of Khardi Matkani motor road from Golchora bed of Balatdi, construction of Kimota-Rirwadi motor road, asphalting of Tak Khandak-Karauli motor road, improvement of 2.5 km kutcha motor road from Kedarnath gas warehouse to Bhaisark, Devidhura main road to Adarsh Mahavidyalaya Devidhura. Work is in progress on reconstruction of 03 km road till Kanwan and improvement and asphalting of 5 km kutcha motor road from Pakhoti Band to Pakhoti Bairakh.
Additional Secretary Nitin Bhadauria, Vineet Kumar, Mrs. Pooja Garbyal and District Magistrate Champawat Navneet Pandey and other concerned officers were present in the meeting through virtual medium.
