Ramlala’s face visible, first complete picture revealed

This idol installed in the sanctum sanctorum of Ram temple has been prepared by Mysore (Karnataka) sculptor Arun Yogiraj. The new idol of Lord Ram was placed in the sanctum sanctorum of Ram Janmabhoomi temple on Thursday afternoon. The 51-inch idol of Ramlala was brought to the temple on Wednesday night. The idol of Lord Rama was placed in the sanctum sanctorum amid full Vedic chanting.

Rituals will continue till January 21

Fire was released from Aranimanthan at 9 am today. Earlier on Wednesday, Kalash puja was organized. According to Ram Mandir Trust officials, the rituals will continue till January 21 and on the day of Pran Pratishtha, every necessary ritual will be conducted for the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Ramlala’s idol. 121 ‘Acharyas’ are conducting the rituals. The Ram Mandir ‘Pran Pratishtha’ program will begin at 12.20 pm on January 22 and is expected to end at 1 pm.

Temple will open for general public after January 22

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the consecration ceremony at the temple on January 22, with the temple expected to be opened to the public the next day. The rituals of consecration ceremony have already started in the temple. In December 1992, Kar Sevaks had demolished the Babri Masjid present at the disputed site. While giving its decision in this case on November 9, 2019, the Supreme Court had ordered to build a temple at the disputed site and to give five acres of land to Muslims to build a mosque at a prominent place in Ayodhya.
