Center approves widening of Kalsi/Herbertpur to Barkot band section to 2 lanes, Uttarakhand CM expresses gratitude to PM and Union Minister
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Road, Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari for happily giving approval for the widening of Kalsi/Herbertpur to Barkot band section under National Highway 507 to 2-lane.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that under the able leadership of the Prime Minister, unprecedented work is being done in the field of road construction in Uttarakhand. Due to better connectivity in the state, the pace of development in the state is also getting new momentum.
The Chief Minister said that with the completion of the construction of expressway between Delhi-Dehradun in the coming days, this journey will be completed in just two hours. The widening of the Kalsi/Herbertpur to Barkot Band section to 2-lanes will provide considerable ease of transportation to the local residents.
