According to the information received, after the obscene photo was uploaded on Friday, as soon as people saw it, they started taking screenshots of it and making it viral. As soon as the Kumaon Commissioner came to know about the matter, he ordered action in it.

Preliminary investigation by the police has revealed that an unknown person had created a fake account on Facebook in the name of Deepak Rawat IAS Officer. Obscene photos were posted from this account through the Facebook Story option. Police say that it may take two to three days to get the data.
