Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while participating in the grand procession organized at Pipleshwar Temple, Clementtown Dehradun, announced Ram Dhun- Ram, Jai Ram, Jai Jai Ram. The Chief Minister said that after a long struggle and wait, the dream of building Ram Temple in Ayodhya is going to come true. Tomorrow we all will witness the consecration of the idol of Ramlala in Ayodhya. After the sacrifice of thousands of saints, Ram devotees and Sanatan lovers, we will all become witnesses of this holy day.
The Chief Minister said that under the efforts of everyone and the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the path for building Ram Temple has been paved. He said that Lord Ram also has a special relationship with Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. There is Raghunath temple dedicated to Lord Ram in Devprayag and clean flowing Saryu river in Bageshwar district. The origin place of Maa Saryu is in our Uttarakhand and Ram is seated in Ayodhya Dham on the banks of Saryu. He said that the people of Uttarakhand are devotees of Ram and also devotees of the nation. Ever since this fortnight started in the state, the entire state has become Rammay. Many programs are being organized across the state from January 14. Under the cultural festival within the state, cleaning campaigns and bhajan kirtans are going on in various temples and ghats. He said that Uttarakhand is continuously progressing due to the grace of Lord Ram. The grand and huge Ram temple in Ayodhya is going to become a big center of the world.
On this occasion, MLA Vinod Chamoli, outgoing Mayor Sunil Uniyal Gama, Councilor Rakesh Juyal, Mamraj Aggarwal, Rajesh Mittal and people participating in the procession were present.
