Uttarakhand: Today, celebrations are being held all over the world regarding the consecration of Shri Ram Lala Pran – Dr. Shailendra
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the “Ram Rajya Shobhayatra” program organized by Shri Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha Utsav Committee, at the Parade Ground, Dehradun on Saturday. During this, Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the dream of all Ram devotees of more than 500 years of waiting to build a grand Ram temple is coming to an end. After the sacrifice of thousands of saints, Ram devotees and Sanatan lovers, we will all become witnesses of this holy day.
The Chief Minister said that we all will witness the consecration of the idol of Lord Shri Ram to be held in Ayodhya on 22 January. He said that the path for construction of Ram temple has been paved under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Today, under his leadership, our country is moving forward on the path of continuous progress. He said that Lord Shri Ram also has a special relationship with Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. There is Raghunath temple dedicated to Lord Shri Ram in Devprayag and clean flowing Saryu river in Bageshwar district. The origin place of Maa Saryu is in our Uttarakhand and Shri Ram is seated in Ayodhya Dham on the banks of Saryu.
The Chief Minister said that the people of Uttarakhand are always ahead in Ramkaj. Along with declaring holiday in educational institutions on 22nd, the state government has also declared holiday in government offices till 2:30 pm. He said that the Uttarakhand government had requested the Uttar Pradesh government to provide land near Ayodhya Dham for building Uttarakhand Sadan in Ayodhya, the land has been allotted to the Uttarakhand government. He said that a grand Uttarakhand Sadan will be built for the people of Uttarakhand on about three acres of land. He said that after the consecration of the idol of Lord Ram in Ayodhya, the Uttarakhand government along with the cabinet will go to Ayodhya to visit the Ram temple.
The Chief Minister said that every resident of Uttarakhand is celebrating the death anniversary of Shri Ram Lalla with full pomp. Under the cultural festival within the state, cleaning campaigns and bhajan kirtans are going on in various temples and ghats. He said that Uttarakhand is continuously progressing due to the grace of Lord Shri Ram. We are witnessing the consecration of Shri Ram Mandir when India became the fifth largest economy in the world, Article 370 was abolished from Kashmir, G-20 was successfully organized in the country, which was seen by the whole world.

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) state campaigner Dr. Shailendra said that today celebrations are being held all over the world regarding Shri Ram Lala Pran Pratishtha. After a long time this day has come which is an emotional moment. Many invaders damaged our culture and religion by destroying temples. He said that due to the influence of Rammay atmosphere, 104 villages in Ayodhya which had turned away from their religion, are today returning to their religion and culture and they are saying that we too are Suryavanshi.
He said that the statements made by the sages are proving to be true today. India’s rise began. This progress has started becoming visible with the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. After so much waiting and sacrifice this time has come. Let us consider it as happy as Diwali and light lamps in our homes on 22 January. Lord Ram is the one who connects everyone. In the current environment, the worshiped intact images and images are reaching every house of the houses from where images for the Gods and Goddesses had been removed. The glory of Sanatan culture is returning. Let us leave no stone unturned in honoring our beloved Shri Ram.
Ram Shobha Yatra passed through these places
This Shri Ram Shobha Yatra started from the Parade Ground, went through Gandhi Park, Clock Tower, Paltan Bazaar Kotwali and further back through Dispensary Road, Rajiv Gandhi Complex and ended at Panchayati Mandir and then Rangers Ground. During the Shobha Yatra, businessmen and women welcomed the procession by showering flowers and distributing sweets from their homes.
