Uttarakhand: Two smugglers arrested, six kilos of hashish found, youth hailing from Nepal

The joint team of Sharda Barrage Police Post and Border Security Force located on Nepal border in Banbasa, border Terai area of Champawat district, has taken major action against drug smugglers. The team has arrested two smugglers with six kilos.

A joint team of Sharda Barrage Police Post and Border Security Force has arrested two Nepali youths with 6 kg 565 grams of hashish near Pillar No. 805 located in the border area. Further action is being taken by registering a case against both the accused under relevant sections.
Both smugglers are residents of Kanchanpur, Nepal
Champawat Superintendent of Police Ajay Ganpati Kumbhar said that the joint team of Sharda Barrage police post under Banbasa police station and the Border Security Force, taking joint action, arrested two youths, Puran Budha and Ravindra Budha, residents of Kanchanpur, Nepal, with a total of six kg 565 kg. Village has been arrested with illegal hashish.
Third major recovery of this year
Let us tell you that this is the third major recovery of this year. The police team that carried out this recovery and arrest has been rewarded with a sum of Rs 5000. A case has been registered under relevant sections against the arrested youth Puran old son of Bhavi old age about 28 years resident of Lekgau district Banjag Kanchanpur and Ravindra old son Fittu old age about 29 years resident of Lekgau district Banjag Kanchanpur.
