Maharashtra: What was the ruckus on Mira Road, MLA Nitish Rane said – will kill selectively
Some miscreants have vandalized and created ruckus in Mira Road area adjacent to Mumbai. In the area, vehicles carrying Shri Ram’s flags were pelted with stones and attacked with sticks. During this period, there are reports of attacks on women also. Due to this, a situation of tension has arisen in the area. According to the allegation, the miscreants carried out vandalism and raised slogans of Allah Hu Akbar and Nara-e-Takbeer on the road. According to Mumbai Police, the situation is currently under control. The police appealed to everyone to maintain peace and not believe in rumours.
This time, BJP MLA Nitish Rane tweeted and said, ‘Remember what happened last night in Mira Road, we will kill selectively.’ After this, there was a clash again in Naya Nagar area of Mira Road. People of a community pelted stones in Naya Nagar area. Police forces have reached the spot to bring the matter under control. On this matter, Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis said that now 13 people have been arrested in this case. Strict action will be taken against all of them. The government will also take strict action against those who have done illegal construction and illegal encroachment.
It is noteworthy that lakhs of people in Maharashtra gathered at Ayodhya on Monday at 12.29 pm by performing processions, special puja, chanting mantras, bhajans, ringing temple bells, raising slogans of ‘Jai Shri Ram’, bursting ‘gulal’, bursting firecrackers and distributing ‘prasad’. Many housing complexes in urban centers like Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Nashik were fully or partially decorated with flowers to mark the joyous occasion. The Maharashtra government is one of the few states that had declared a complete holiday, allowing lakhs of families, including senior citizens and children, to celebrate the festival. Hundreds of big and small Ram temples in the tribal areas of Thane, Palghar, Nandurbar, Gadchiroli, Chandrapur and Wardha, as well as in the mofussil areas of the coastal Konkan region, were decorated with flags and fringes, oil lamps were lit and prayers were offered.
