Uttarakhand / Dehradun: Dead body of a young man was murdered and thrown in the forest of Dudhli, deep injury marks found on his face.

In Dudhli area, a young man was murdered and his body was thrown in the forest. There were deep injury marks on the young man’s face. Earlier it was being said that it was an animal attack but after the post mortem report found it suspicious, the police have started investigation. Late in the evening, a case has been registered at Clementtown police station on the complaint of the youth’s sister. The police are interrogating the people nearby.

According to the information received from the police, on Monday, information was received about the dead body of a youth lying in the forest of Dudhli. It was told that the youth’s family has taken the body to their home. He was identified as Amit Kumar resident of Dudhali. Amit used to work in making furniture.

It was revealed that there is no one in Amit’s family except his sister. His sister also got married some time ago. Amit had left home on Sunday evening. When he did not reach home till morning, neighbors and other family members searched for him. They found the dead body in the forest of Dudhli. The family members came home with the dead body.

The family members were suspecting that Amit had been attacked by some wild animal. But, when the police saw the facial wound, it did not appear to be an attack by wild animals. On this the body was sent for post-mortem. The post-mortem of Amit’s body has been done in which it is being said that he was attacked with a heavy weapon. However, the police have not yet received the official report. SO Clementtown Deepak Dhariwal said that Amit’s sister Deepa has filed a complaint regarding the murder. On the basis of this, a case of murder has been registered against unknown persons.

Police is getting the mobile call details of Amit. This will reveal who has come in contact with him recently. Police are also interrogating some suspects. Police claim that the murder case will be revealed soon.
