Uttarakhand: Mussoorie, the queen of hills, became Rammay, grand procession organized
On the occasion of the consecration of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya, amazing enthusiasm was seen among the devotees in Mussoorie also. A grand procession of Lord Maryada Purushottam Ramchandra was taken out by Shri Sanatan Dharma Mandir in Mussoorie. In which people participated enthusiastically.

A grand procession of Lord Maryada Purushottam Ramchandra was taken out by Shri Sanatan Dharma Mandir in Mussoorie. A procession took place from Shri Sanatan Dharam Mandir with bands and went through the city’s Malingar Chowk, Gurudwara Chowk, Landour Bazaar, Kuldi Bazaar to Gandhi Chowk via Mall Road and after coming back to Landour Sanatan Dharam, the coronation of Lord Ram was done.
Lamps were lit and fireworks were done in temples
While a procession was taken out in Mussoorie, lamps were lit and fireworks were set off in temples. In the procession, tableaus of Lord Ram and Ram Parivar enthralled everyone and devotees showered flowers. Hundreds of women were walking in the procession singing bhajans and kirtans.
Hanuman’s character captivated everyone
The most attractive character in the Shobha Yatra was that of Ram devotee Hanuman and he faced many obstacles. The character of Hanuman was dancing with the devotees all along the way. The Shobha Yatra was welcomed at many places and along with organizing Bhandara in all the temples, arrangements for refreshments were made for the devotees participating in the Shobha Yatra. On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi said that the entire country is in Rammay. After five hundred years of penance, he is sitting in his temple.
