A 65-year-old man married a 28-year-old woman in a temple by lying to his first wife. After a year, when the truth came in front of the woman, the ground slipped under her feet. The woman has filed a complaint with the police regarding the matter.
Allegations of physical abuse
According to the information received, a woman told the police in a complaint that the owner of a famous school in Dehradun had lied to her and got her married in a temple. The victim alleges that Mukesh Chaudhary had married her in the temple by saying this. After marriage, Mukesh physically exploited her for a year in Delhi, Noida and Dehradun.
The victim told that Mukesh had told her that he was divorced from his wife. But last November, when the victim came to know that Mukesh Chaudhary was not divorced from his wife. He had filed a complaint regarding the matter in the SSP office of Dehradun in December. But no case was registered against the accused at that time.
DGP gave instructions for investigation
The victim then appealed to DGP Abhinav Kumar for help. DGP ordered a high level inquiry into the matter. After which CO Dalanwala Purnima Garg ordered to register FIR after investigation. After this, a case was registered against Mukesh Chaudhary and his son in Dalanwala police station.
This is the whole matter
The woman alleged that 65-year-old Mukesh Chaudhary married her in a Delhi temple with the intention of having physical relations by luring her into falsehood. After which he exploited the woman for a year. The woman has also accused Mukesh Chaudhary’s son Raj Chaudhary (38) of trying to have physical relations with her.
The victim told that when she refused, Raj also abused and beat her. When the victim complained about this to Raj’s father Mukesh Chaudhary, he ignored the woman’s plea. After having a married relationship for a year, the victim came to know last November that Mukesh Chaudhary had married her by lying to her.
The victim said that Mukesh Chaudhary had shown her the divorce documents of 2016 and told her that he had not talked to his wife for the last 10 years. He lives in Noida with his mother and adopted daughter. Mukesh had also kept the woman with his mother and daughter for some time after marriage.
The woman told that Mukesh had a heart attack a few days ago. He was undergoing treatment at CMI Hospital. When she came to know about this, she immediately came to the hospital to meet him. After reaching the hospital, the woman came to know that Mukesh was not divorced from his wife. After which the ground slipped beneath the woman’s feet.
When the woman wanted to know the truth from Mukesh after coming back from the hospital, Mukesh called the marriage with her false and illegal. The victim tried to reconcile with Mukesh for several days but Mukesh did not listen to the woman. The woman tried to talk to Mukesh’s family. But he also refused to recognize the woman.
On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case against Mukesh Chaudhary and his son Raj Chaudhary under relevant sections. According to the information, Inspector Gusain said that the police is investigating the allegations after collecting evidence.
