Uttarakhand: India Alliance meeting regarding Lok Sabha elections 2024, strategy made to defeat BJP

To defeat BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, a meeting of the India Alliance was held today at the Congress state headquarters under the leadership of the party’s state president Karan Mahara. Leaders of all opposition parties participated in this meeting.

National Secretary of Samajwadi Party Dr. Satyanarayan Sachan, CPI leader Samar Bhandari, State Secretary of CPI(ML) Indresh Mekhuri, State Convenor of Uttarakhand Mahila Manch Kamla Pant, Nirmala Bisht of Mahila Manch and representatives of various social organizations participated in the meeting. In this meeting, the strategy for 2024 elections was discussed. Along with this, various issues related to public concerns were also discussed. State President of Congress Party Karan Mahara called upon the leaders of opposition parties to teach a lesson to BJP regarding the 2024 elections. He said that efforts will be made to implement the suggestions received from the opposition parties in the meeting.

BJP accused of communal polarization

Senior CPM leader Samar Bhandari, who reached the meeting, said that today a big crisis is facing the country. Religion is being used for politics. He said that today unemployment, inflation and social inequality are being ignored in the country. All public problems are being whitewashed by communal polarisation. India alliance is worried about this. Therefore, all the opposition parties of Uttarakhand have united and discussed about creating an effective alternative.

India alliance eyes five seats of Uttarakhand

National Secretary of Samajwadi Party, Dr. Satyanarayan Sachan, present in the meeting of India Alliance, has fiercely attacked the Central Government. He said that the India Alliance had already decided to bid farewell to PM Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party in the 2024 elections. He said that the constituent parties of the India Alliance in Uttarakhand have set the target of defeating the BJP on all five Lok Sabha seats of the state and making the constituent parties win.
