Uttarakhand: Review of CM Helpline 1905, instructions to resolve complaints by the month of March

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a review meeting regarding CM Helpline 1905 and directed that maximum resolution of people’s complaints should be our priority. He said that currently 60 percent of the complaints are being resolved. Our target should be to resolve 80 percent of the complaints by March 2024. The Chief Minister also launched CM Darpan Dashboard 2.0 on the occasion.

In the review meeting held at the Secretariat on Monday, it was informed that from May 9, 2023 to January 22, 2024, a total of 95573 complaints were registered, out of which about 60 percent of the complaints were resolved satisfactorily. Expressing satisfaction over this, the Chief Minister directed the officials that our target should be to resolve 80 percent of the complaints by March 2024. The Chief Minister said that there are some complaints which cannot be resolved despite trying to find practical solutions. In such a situation, the concerned department must communicate with the complainant.

The Chief Minister said that it should be ensured that no complaint is closed unilaterally. The complainant should be completely satisfied before closing any complaint. He said that all the personnel engaged in this work will have to work with ownership. He said that all the people working in the CM Helpline should attend the complainant properly. The Chief Minister said that secretaries of all departments should regularly review the complaints received on the CM Helpline.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister expressed his happiness over the districts which communicated the most with the public regarding their complaints and said that other districts should be inspired by them.

Maximum 52.93 percent people were contacted in Dehradun district, 35.06 percent in Chamoli district and 34.77 percent in Haridwar. On this occasion, the Chief Minister was informed that in addition to the facility of click to call for communication with the public by the officers on the CM Helpline, there is also the facility of uploading the review meeting minutes on the CM Helpline, creation of ID and password for using the Chief Minister Reference Portal. And training work has been done. Also, Chief Minister Jan Samarpan Tehsil Diwas Portal has been started.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister also spoke to some complainants over phone. Complainant Amit, resident of Roorkee, informed the Chief Minister that he had complained about non-admission and rejection on the helpline, which has now been resolved. Mahavir told that he had complained about non-installation of street lights, which was resolved in 4-5 days.
The Chief Minister said that videos of people whose complaints are being resolved through CM Helpline should be made and publicized and broadcasted through social media.

Additional Chief Secretary Mrs. Radha Raturi, Mr. Anand Vardhan, Vice Chairman of State Infrastructure Monitoring Council Mr. Vishwas Dabur, Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. R. Meenakshi Sundaram, Vinay Shankar Pandey, Secretary RK Sudhanshu, Shailesh Bagoli, Radhika Jha, Pankaj Pandey, BVRC Purushottam were present in the meeting. , Director General of Police Mr. Abhinav Kumar, Director General of Information Mr. Banshidhar Tiwari etc. officers were present. On this occasion, District Magistrates of all the districts also participated in the meeting through virtual medium.
