Uttarakhand: CM Dhami wished the people of the state on Republic Day, talked about calling a session to implement the Uniform Civil Code law in the state

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has greeted the people of the state on Republic Day. In his message issued on the eve of Republic Day, the Chief Minister saluted the freedom fighters, constitution makers and state agitators and said that Republic Day is a festival of the making of our Constitution. This unique Constitution of ours has been continuously guiding our nation.

The Chief Minister said that Republic Day also reminds us of the sacrifices and sacrifices of our freedom fighters. This occasion also inspires us to resolve to fulfill the dreams of patriots and commit ourselves to our goals. Under the Constitution itself, it is the responsibility of all of us to always remain committed to the basic democratic ideals of justice, liberty, equality and fraternity.

The Chief Minister said that the 5-member committee formed for the Uniform Civil Code has completed the draft. As soon as the draft is received, a session of the Assembly will be called and the Uniform Civil Code law will be implemented in the entire Uttarakhand. He said that the state government is committed to the development, welfare and progress of the people standing in the last line of the society with the spirit of Antyodaya. Following the policy of zero tolerance on corruption, strict anti-copying law has been implemented in the state. Most of the services related to public service have been made online.

The Chief Minister said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government is working rapidly in every field to bring Uttarakhand into the category of leading states of the country by 2025. With the support of the godlike people of Uttarakhand, the state government is working with full commitment to make this decade the decade of Uttarakhand. Many efforts are being made to boost the economy of the state. Action is underway to implement the agreements worth Rs 3.56 lakh crore signed during the Destination Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit. The enthusiasm shown by investors for investment in the state will, in the coming times, increase employment resources for people at the local level and will also control migration. Along with religious tourism, other tourism activities are also being carried out at a rapid pace in the state. The number of devotees coming on Chardham Yatra in the state is increasing rapidly. To further promote religious tourism in Kumaon division, work is being done rapidly under Manaskhand Mandir Mala Mission.

The Chief Minister said that respecting the mother power of the state is also of paramount importance for us. The state government has made a provision to give 30 percent reservation to women in government jobs. Mukhyamantri Lakhpati Didi Yojana has been started for women empowerment in the state. Under this scheme, a target has been set to make 1.25 lakh women of the state millionaires. The Chief Minister called upon the people of the state to make their significant contribution to fulfill Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resolve of a developed India.
