Uttarakhand: Students will study Uttarakhand connection of Lord Ram, preparations started to include it in the syllabus

New chapter will be added to the syllabus till 12th
Actually, Director General of Uttarakhand Education Department, Banshidhar Tiwari told Aaj Tak that the Education Department took an initiative on the life of Lord Ram in which a new subject named ‘Heritage of Uttarakhand’ will be introduced in classes 1 to 12 of CBSE and Uttarakhand Board schools of Uttarakhand. is being introduced in the curriculum up to. In this book, there will be some chapters on Lord Ram’s arrival at Devbhoomi and his time spent there. He told that details about Raghunath temple of Lord Ram in Devprayag will be given in this book. Heritage of Uttarakhand is a good initiative in which the future students of Uttarakhand will get good education about the history of Devbhoomi.

There are mythological temples of Lord Ram in these districts of Uttarakhand.
Banshidhar Tiwari said that DG Education Department Banshidhar Tiwari said that there are more than 18 such places in the state where they are directly related to Lord Ram. Mythological temples of Lord Ram are located in Rishikesh, Devprayag, Uttarkashi, and Pithoragarh of Uttarakhand.

Students will study religious culture and legacy of Lord Ram in schools.

The state government is trying to make a new beginning by completing this work in 2025. This will give students an opportunity to study the stories and mythological significance of Lord Ram. This initiative is an effort to promote the cultural and religious heritage of Lord Ram in schools.
