What was revealed in the ASI report?

In fact, the ASI report has found evidence of the existence of a Hindu temple in the Gyanvapi complex. On Thursday, on the orders of the court, a copy of the 839-page report was handed over to all the parties and after that, the temple side’s advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain said on the basis of the 20-page finding report that Gyanvapi was earlier a big Hindu temple.

Owaisi rejected ASI report

Whereas Owaisi completely rejected the survey report of ASI and said that it will not be able to stand the academic scrutiny in front of any group of professional archaeologists or historians. This report makes a mockery of scientific studies because it is based on conjecture. He quoted a scholar and said that ASI is a slave of Hindutva.

Date for construction of mosque found

The advocate of the temple side said that the structure of the Hindu temple was demolished during the time of Aurangzeb in the 17th century. After this the remains and pillars of the temple were used to build the mosque. 32 places have been found in Gyanvapi where there is evidence of the existence of old temples. He further said, on a broken stone, an order to demolish the temple and the date of construction of a mosque were found in Persian.
