Uttarakhand: Chief Secretary Dr. S.S. Sandhu hoisted the national flag in the secretariat, congratulated all the officers, employees and their families on Republic Day
Chief Secretary Dr. S.S. Sandhu hoisted the national flag at the Secretariat on Friday on the occasion of Republic Day. On this occasion, the Chief Secretary congratulated all the officers, employees and their families of the Secretariat on Republic Day. He said that the biggest feature of a republic is that it gives every citizen of the country the right to reach the highest position in the country.
The Chief Secretary addressed the flag hoisting program organized in the Secretariat. Addressing the event, he drew attention to the Fundamental Duties of the citizens mentioned in the Constitution of India and the 10th Fundamental Duty ‘To strive continuously towards excellence in all spheres of individual and collective activity so that the nation continuously reaches higher levels of endeavor and achievement. Emphasis was laid on assimilation. He said that through our excellent decisions and actions, we can play an important role in the development of the state and its citizens by making a positive impact on their lives.
On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary Smt. Radha Raturi, Principal Secretary R. Of. Sudhanshu, L. Fanai, all the secretaries and additional secretaries and officers and employees of the secretariat were present.
