Uttarakhand: Governor and CM Dhami hoisted the flag on Republic Day, congratulated the people of the state, honored policemen
Flag hoisting program is being organized across the country on the occasion of 75th Republic Day. In the same sequence, flag hoisting program was also organized at the Chief Minister’s residence and Raj Bhavan. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami hoisted the flag at the Chief Minister’s residence at 9 am. After this, Governor Lieutenant General (R) Gurmeet Singh hoisted the flag at Raj Bhavan at 9:30. On this occasion, Governor Gurmeet Singh greeted all the people of the country and the state on Republic Day. After the flag hoisting, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami administered the oath of the Constitution to the employees of CM residence. Also congratulated the state and the countrymen on Republic Day.

At the same time, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that it is a big occasion when the President of France has come on the occasion of Republic Day. In such a situation, all Indians welcome and congratulate the President of France. The theme is to advance women, every possible effort is being made to advance women’s upliftment under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In the last nine and a half years, every area has been dedicated to mother power. India is the largest democratic country in the world today. Along with this, CM Dhami also paid tribute to the makers of the Constitution.
Flag hoisting ceremony at the parade ground
The program was organized at the Parade Ground in the capital Dehradun. In this program organized at 10:30, Governor Gurmeet Singh hoisted the flag and took the salute of the parade. After this, an exhibition of tableaux prepared by the departments was taken out. All these tableaux were prepared by different departments related to their departments. Also, development works have been included in the tableau “Developed Uttarakhand” prepared by the Information Department. During the program, school children danced and gave a message to make people aware about voting. However, a glimpse of people from every religion and community was seen in the dance message regarding this voting. Along with this, many cultural programs were also organized. Which captivated people’s hearts. After the completion of the cultural program, all the police personnel including the DGP were honoured.

Along with this, after the display of tableaux, the Information Department has been given the first place, the Rural Development Department has been given the second place and the Horticulture Department has been given the third place. The program concluded after award distribution. Among the honored police personnel, SP Vipin Chandra Pant, Platoon Commander Gajpal Singh Rawat, Additional Gulmanayak, 40th Corps Dhani Lal were awarded the Governor’s Excellent Service Medal for meritorious service. Inspector Ajay Kumar Rawat, Inspector Traffic Shyam Lal, Deputy Inspector Govind Singh Mehta and Additional Deputy Inspector Arjun Singh were honored with the Excellent Service Award for excellent service. Along with this, 19 employees were honored with the Meritorious Service Award for their meritorious service.
DGP Abhinav Kumar hoisted the flag
DGP Abhinav Kumar hoisted the flag at the police headquarters on the occasion of 75th Republic Day. Along with this, the DGP administered the oath to the subordinate officers and police employees on the Preamble of the Constitution and inspired them to serve the country and perform their duties with full devotion. DGP Abhinav Kumar honored police officers and police employees for their excellent work on the occasion of Republic Day.
