Delhi: In Shahdara a fire broke out in a building in Shahdara, four people including an innocent child died tragically, an old woman and a teenager got burnt.

A tragic accident took place in Shahdara, Delhi. Here, four people died in a fire in a building in Ram Nagar, while two people got burnt. After getting information about the matter, fire brigade vehicles reached the spot. After much effort the fire was brought under control. The injured have been taken to GTB Hospital for treatment.
A massive fire broke out in the evening in a four-storey building located in street number 26 in Ramnagar area of Modern Shahdara. After receiving the information, five fire tenders and a police team immediately reached the spot. The fire was brought under control by 6:55 pm. Fire in rubber material and rubber cutting machine kept on the ground floor of the building is being said to be the cause of the accident.
Those who lost their lives have been identified as Pratham Soni (17 years), Rachna (28 years), Gauri Soni (40), Ruhi (9 months). While 16 year old Radhika and 70 year old Prabhavati were injured. A total of six people, including a child, were trapped inside the building during the accident, who were rescued by fire brigade personnel. After this everyone was taken to GTB Hospital for treatment. Four people including a child died there. Treatment of injured people is going on.
