Health Minister gave instructions that making Ayushman card should be a priority, Uttarakhand should be made number one in this

State Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat reviewed the Ayushman Scheme today at the State Health Authority office. He instructed the officials to achieve 100% target of making Ayushman cards. He also inspected various sections of Ayushman Yojana.

Instructions given to make 100% Ayushman card
In the meeting, Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that it is very important to make 100 percent Ayushman cards in the state. If at present Ayushman cards have been made for half the population, then it is injustice to the half of the population whose cards have not been made yet and who are deprived of the benefits of the scheme when needed.

Apart from ration card, focus on other options also
The Health Minister said that apart from the ration card, the card should focus on other options so that this problem can be resolved in the cabinet. Along with this, instructions have also been given to look into the arrangements given in Ladakh and Jammu Kashmir for better implementation. The Minister also talked to the Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Authority and discussed options other than the ration card in making the Ayushman Card.

Do homework on the arrangements for making Ayushman card
The Cabinet Minister directed the officials to do homework on the system of making Ayushman cards from the copy of the family register in rural areas so that proper arrangements can be made smoothly by bringing it in the cabinet. Chief Executive Officer of the State Health Authority, Dr. Anand Srivastava, who was present in the meeting, said that the data of the beneficiaries for whom new ration cards have been made is not being shown on the portal.

Every citizen should be given free facility of Ayushman
Because of this, despite having the ration card, there are difficulties in making the Ayushman card. Data should be shown on real time. The Cabinet Minister talked about solving this problem as soon as possible. He said that the government is committed to public health. Apart from this, the issue of asking about the condition of elderly beneficiaries and providing them health services at home and free pathology facility was also discussed in the meeting.
