Uttarakhand: ‘Aastha’ special train runs from Haridwar to Ayodhya, CM Dhami shows green flag

After the consecration of the Ram temple on January 22, there is a huge influx of Ram devotees in Ayodhya. Every day, lakhs of Ram devotees are reaching Ayodhya for the darshan of Lord Ram. Today, a group of about one and a half thousand Ram devotees formally left for Ayodhya from Haridwar. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami flagged off the ‘Aastha’ special train run by the Railways from Haridwar Railway Station in the presence of saints.

Before leaving the train from Haridwar to Ayodhya, rituals were offered and the pilgrimage was started by breaking the coconut. Addressing Ram devotees from the stage, Chief Minister Dhami said that Ram temple is becoming a modern symbol of our culture. Ram temple will also become the spiritual center of the world in the coming times. CM Dhami said that the operation of the train will benefit Ram devotees of the entire state. For this the people of the state are grateful to the Prime Minister and the Railway Minister.

At the same time, the Ram devotees leaving from religious city Haridwar for Ram’s city Ayodhya also looked very excited. As soon as a group of one and a half thousand passengers left Haridwar to visit the Ram temple, the entire station complex echoed with chants of Jai Shri Ram. During this, Ram devotees said that after years of waiting, they are getting a chance to visit the grand Ram temple.

Train run on demand of VHP

On the demand of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, a special ‘Aastha’ special train has been run by the Railways. Ram Mandir Teerth Kshetra Trust is making arrangements for Ram devotees to visit the temple. After Uttarakhand, Ram devotees from other states are also going to visit Ram temple by special service of Railways.

The train was to depart on January 25

Let us tell you that ‘Aastha’ special train from Haridwar was to leave for Ayodhya on January 25. The seats of the devotees had also been booked. But due to increasing crowd of devotees in Ayodhya, the train was canceled. But the train has been dispatched on 29th January. This train will reach Ayodhya at 10 am on January 30. After having darshan in Ayodhya on 30th and 31st January, Ram devotees will leave for Haridwar at 5 pm on 31st.
