Uttarakhand: Almora Women’s Hospital became a den of drug addicts, liquor bottles piled up on the prescription counter

On Monday, empty bottles and glasses were found scattered in the premises of Almora Women’s Hospital. When the department was asked about this, the department could not give any answer in this regard. Along with this, the patients have alleged that due to lack of care, the hospital is becoming a den of drug addicts.

A huge quantity of empty liquor bottles and glasses were found near the prescription counter in Almora Women’s Hospital premises. Let us tell you that more than 250 women and pregnant women come to the hospital every day for treatment. Despite this, such conditions of the hospital expose the claims made regarding health facilities.
There is no guard in the hospital at night
According to the information received, there is a Home Guard jawan deployed in the women’s hospital during OPD time, but the Home Guard jawan does not come to the hospital after noon. Nor is there deployment of security guards in the hospital at night. Because of which there is no restriction on movement here.
Hospital is becoming a den of alcoholics
Local people and women coming here for treatment have alleged that the hospital arrangements are in poor condition. Day by day the hospital is becoming a den of alcoholics. People say that due to the absence of security guards, some people are making it a den of drug addicts.
