Uttarakhand: Mahatma Gandhi’s death anniversary today, Congress and other parties took out ‘Shaheed Samman Yatra’

On the occasion of the death anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, an all-religion prayer meeting and ‘Shaheed Samman March’ was organized by the Congress under the ‘India will win today, India will lose’ campaign. This march was ‘Shaheed Samman Yatra’ from Gandhi Park to Ghantaghar and back to Gandhi Park. Apart from representatives of more than a dozen social organizations of Dehradun, senior leaders of Congress, SP and Left parties participated in this program.

State Vice President Organization of Congress, Mathura Dutt Joshi said that India will win and hatred will lose, these programs were organized in the entire state today on the martyrdom day of Mahatma Gandhi under the aegis of Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra. He told that today we are paying homage to the statues of the great man Mahatma Gandhi and also a padyatra has been taken out in the entire state. He said that we have organized this program against the way in which an atmosphere of hatred is being created.

They try to forget the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi. Along with this, he said that today the biggest crisis on the sacrifices made by Mahatma Gandhi for democracy, constitution, Hindu Muslim brotherhood etc. is being presented by the present government.
